Majia Channel Tools ("the tool") is operated by Majia Media (馬家媒體) ("we"). This policy explains what information the tool accesses through YouTube API Services, how it is used, stored and shared, and how you can revoke access or ask for deletion.
1. YouTube API Services
The tool uses YouTube API Services. By using the tool you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
2. Information we access
When the owner of a channel authorizes the tool with Google OAuth, the tool may access, for that channel only:
- Basic account information: Google account email address and channel ID/title (to confirm which channel was authorized).
- Channel and video data: video titles, descriptions, publish times, view/like/comment counts.
- YouTube Analytics reports: views, watch time, audience retention, traffic sources, and aggregated (non-identifying) audience age, gender, country and device statistics.
- Comments on the channel's own videos: comment text, the commenter's public display name and channel ID, and comment time — only so that we can read and reply to them.
- Video files and metadata that we upload to our own channels.
The tool does not access channels that have not authorized it, and it does not collect data about viewers beyond the public comment information above.
3. How we use the information
- To upload and schedule our own videos.
- To produce internal performance reports for our own channels.
- To reply to comments posted on our own videos.
We do not sell the information, use it for advertising, or use it to build profiles of individual viewers.
4. Storage and retention
- OAuth tokens and reports are stored on our own computers in our office and are not uploaded to third-party services.
- Data obtained from YouTube API Services is refreshed or deleted within 30 days, as required by the YouTube API Services Developer Policies. Aggregated statistics we calculate ourselves (for example, a channel's daily view totals) may be kept for internal reporting.
- Comment data is kept only while it is needed to reply, and no longer than 30 days.
5. Sharing
We do not share information obtained through YouTube API Services with third parties, except where required by law.
6. Cookies, device information and link clicks
The tool is used by our staff. It does not place cookies on the devices of YouTube viewers.
Our channels link to contact pages through short links on this website (for example /line/<channel>). When someone opens such a link we record only the time, which channel's link was used, an optional source video ID, and the country reported by our hosting provider, so that we can count clicks. We do not record IP addresses, names or any other personal information, and this data is not combined with data obtained through YouTube API Services.
7. Revoking access and deleting data
- A channel owner can revoke the tool's access at any time from the Google security settings page: https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions.
- After access is revoked, we delete the stored token and the data obtained for that channel within 7 days.
- To request deletion of any data, email a01071777534@gmail.com. We reply within 7 days.
8. Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date.
